Gay Hendricks

Gay Hendricks has served for more than 35 years as one of the major contributors to the fields of relationship transformation and body-mind therapies. Along with his wife, Dr. Kathlyn Hendricks, Gay is the author of many bestsellers, including Conscious Loving, The Big Leap and Five Wishes. He recently launched a mystery series about the adventures of the Tibetan Buddhist sleuth, Tenzing Norbu. Robert Augustus Masters

Bill Kauth

Bill Kauth was a psychotherapist and business consultant in 1984 when he conceived and co-founded the New Warrior Training Adventure, a powerful initiatory training for men that is now presented by The ManKind Project to well over 60,000 men in 48 centers in 9 countries around the world.

As a social inventor over the last two decades, Bill also co-founded the Spiritual Warrior and Inner King Trainings, and launched the Warrior-Monk Training Retreat in 1995. His first book A Circle of Men: The Original Manual for Men’s Support Groups was published by St. Martin’s Press in 1992.

Raz Ingrazi

Raz is the Chairman of the Hoffman Institute International and the founder and former CEO of the Hoffman Institute Foundation. A graduate of UC Berkeley, he has been an executive, consultant, and facilitator within the “Human Potential Movement” since 1972, and is a certified Hoffman Teacher as well.

Raz’s passion for teaching the Hoffman Process is both professional and personal — it brings him into the depths of human experience where he learns at least as much as he teaches. Rob Allbee

Rob Allbee is the Founder and past Executive Director of the Inside Circle Foundation, a not for profit prison outreach program, since 1997.

Prior to that he volunteered as a creative writing instructor through the Arts-in-Corrections program at Folsom Prison, and had extensive experience facilitating men’s groups.

Since his recovery from the criminality and drug abuse of his younger life he has launched and operates Allbee Construction as a successful building contractor specializing in timber frame custom homes.

As the father of three adult sons and a grandfather he dedicates most of his time now to his family and mentoring men from the streets and in prison. He is the author of three books of poetry and prose entitled “Digging In The Dirt”, “My Grandfather’s House” and “Lion That Catches Fire”.

SESSION 7: He Stands by his Brother

Ken Druck

It’s been nearly 45 years since Dr. Ken Druck started his first Men’s Group, began giving “Alive and Male” seminars, wrote his doctoral thesis on the Psychology of Men, and started offering programs on men’s issues around the world.

In 1984, Ken’s book, The Secrets Men Keep: Breaking the Silence Barrier, a book about men FOR men themselves, was featured in national media, on shows like CNN, Oprah, Donahue, Larry King Live and in the nation’s leading newspapers and magazines.

Raising two beautiful daughters in California, Ken was sitting on top of the world. The tragic death of his oldest daughter, Jenna, in 1996, changed everything.

Alexander “Alex” Ebert

Alex is a singer-songwriter and composer. He is best known for being the lead singer and songwriter for the American bands Ima Robot and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Alex has also written the score for the films All is Lost, starring Robert Redford, and A Most Violent Year directed by J.C. Chandor; and he won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for All Is Lost.  His song “Truth” is featured in the credits of the Oscar-winner short live-action film, Curfew.

A number of Alex’s songs have also been featured in television soundtracks including for Breaking Bad, How to Make it in America, Chuck, the Deadliest Catch and Raising Hope.

Ivan Misner

Yakov Smirnoff

Yakov Smirnoff is a world-renown Russian comedian and actor who has had a successful career on the stage and in television and movies… such as Moscow on the Hudson, The Money Pit and Heartburn.

Yakov has entertained three different Presidents in command performances at the White House, and Ronald Reagan called Yakov, “a national treasure.”

SESSION 10: His Sexuality is a Gift of Love

Mantak Chia

Mantak Chia is a master teacher of ancient Taoist internal energetic arts. He is creator of the Universal Healing Tao System and Tao Yoga, and the director of the Universal Healing Tao Center and Tao Garden Health Spa & Resort in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Lee Holden

Adam Bucko

Adam Bucko is an activist, spiritual director to many of New York City’s homeless youth, and co-author of “Occupy Spirituality: A Radical Vision for a New Generation”; and “The New Monasticism: An Inter-spiritual Manifesto for Contemplative Living”

Warren Farrell

Jed Diamond

Jed Diamond

Jed has been involved with helping men and the families who love them since November 21, 1969… the date his son, Jemal, was born. He made a vow to his baby boy that he would be a different kind of father than his father was able to be to him, and to create a male-friendly world that supported men, women, and children.

After receiving his Master’s degree in Social Work from UC Berkeley, Jed founded MenAlive in 1980 to focus attention on the emerging field of gender-specific medicine and men’s health.
