Yakov Smirnoff is a world-renown Russian comedian and actor who has had a successful career on the stage and in television and movies… such as Moscow on the Hudson, The Money Pit and Heartburn. Yakov has entertained three different Presidents in command performances at the White House, and Ronald Reagan called Yakov, “a national treasure.”
He owns a 2000-seat theater in Branson Missouri where he has entertained over 4 million people with his own hilarious performances. In addition to being a comedy icon, Yakov holds a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and is a professor at Missouri State University where he teaches a course on happiness and laughter.
With his talent to make people laugh Yakov helped to end the Cold War between countries… now he’s helping to end the ‘cold war in the bedroom.’
